Omicron' CMC 256plus -- is a high precision relay test set and universal calibrator. Click for more information.
The CT Analyzer from Onicron provides fast and cost-effective testing and verification of current transformers for protection and metering applications. The company attests it automatically determines all relevant current transformer values and compares the results with the selected IEC or IEEE standard. The very small and lightweight (<8kg) the device offers an outstanding accuracy of 0.02% in ratio and 1 min in phase angle deviation, making it the most suitable mobile test device for testing CTs up to accuracy class 0.1. The latest version of the CT Analyzer has been improved with new hardware accessories and software functions The latest measurement function of the CT Analyzer - the RemAlyzer - allows current trans-formers to be tested for residual magnetism. Residual magnetism can occur when current transformers are confronted with very high ac currents or dc offset during fault conditions. Core saturation effects caused by residual magnetism may lead to incorrect operation of the protection relays. The CT Analyzer can be extended by the CT SB2 switch box, enabling testing of current transformers with multiple taps, without the need for rewiring. The CT SB2 is a standalone unit, which can be attached to the CT Analyzer. It provides simple, color-coded, six-channel connection possibilities, guaranteeing convenient wiring and avoiding time-consuming and error-prone reconnection. Due to its wide functionality range and easy handling the CT Analyzer is the ideal solution for on-site testing and calibration of single and multi-tap current transformers for protection and metering purposes. Air discharge testing, which is affected by numerous variable factors, is a widely adopted test method, since the actual ESD events in the field are air discharges. In the contact discharge method, the discharge current rise extremely quickly, approximately 1ns, independent of ESD charge voltage. In addition, the proportional relationship between the ESD charge voltages and current peaks can be obtained, allowing the engineer to define the ESD susceptibility of the equipment under test in terms of charge voltage. This simulator is designed to conduct both contact and air discharge testing. Two models ESS-2000AX and ESS-2002EX are available. The Shenyei ESS-2002EX is the basic model with a built-in discharge counter and time controller. ESS-2000AX is the fully programmable menu-driven simulator enabling uses to carry out tests in a more automated manner, and controlled by PC through several interfaces. The units meet and the far exceeds the requirements in EN/IEC61000-4-2, ISO10605 There is up to ±30kV output in both contact and air discharges and the gun is lightweight. There are easily interchangeable inexpensive capacitor and resistor units and easy program mode of ESS-2000AX CE marked and most customers have been using ESS series in US.
The Associated Research Inc. 7710 is a 12KVdc Hipot tester that is designed to provide high dc output voltage for cable, wire, harness and electrical component testing. This easy-to-use bench top tester offers numerous features for safe and efficient testing. These features include our patented SmartGFI safety circuit and our patented Charge-lo and Ramp-hi systems. In addition, the 7710 can also be used in tandem with the company's Autoware control software. There are 50 memories that can be stored and recalled. Multifunction models include eight steps per memory. The 500VA models are available for higher current Hipot test applications Up to 20kV ac or dc Hipt testing for manufacturers with higher voltage testing requirements. USB/RS-232 or GPIB automation interfaces are available.
