Owns seven hydro power stations in Victoria. Now owned by Meridian.
Stanwell Corporation
Operates six power stations in Queensland with combined capacity of 1,585MW.
Tarong Energy

TRUEnergy
Owns Hallett Power Station (SA), the Iona Gas Plant (Victoria), Yallourn mine and power station (Victoria) and the Tallawarra power station outside Wollongong on the NSW south coast. Total generating capacity is 2060MW.

Valley Power
Owned by Snowy Hydro Limited this is a 300MW nominal gas-fired simple-cycle peaker plant in the Latrobe Valley, Victoria. There is no web site for this company.
Verve Energy
Verve Energy was created when Western Power separated into four businesses as part of the State Government energy market reforms in 2006. Verve has five major power stations - Muja, Collie, Kwinana, Cockburn and Pinjar (north of Perth) - and a windfarm at Albany and biomass facilities.
Westerm Power
Owns five major power stations and 26 smaller regional stations with a total capacity of 3,280MW.
Yallourn W
This 1450MW station owns the nearby Maryvale coalfield. Wholly-owned by the Hong Kong-based CLP group. Owns the retailer AusPower.
