Almost a pedopile ring
Posted On: 2012-05-03 Posted by Des Dugan

It is certain to bring out the dogmatic proponents — "Wind farm scam a huge cover-up", and the strapper, "it is the biggest and most outrageous scandal of the 21st Century".
Won’t get any argument from us, however the writer James Delingpole ~ a journalist and broadcaster in Australia ~ in today’s Australian newspaper comes up with a few more facts and findings worthy of mention.
What also should be mentioned is he is one of the few journalists or company executives to drive out to the farms and get first hand reports from wind farm resident.
Most we already know.
The health aspects, long brushed aside by the wind farm proponents, are both well documented and irrefutable.
The fact the farms produce electricity amounting to a third or a quarter of its output is also well documented.
The total cost of building new infrastructure to handle remote wind farm connectivity is for the very rich or governments.
We won’t go into irregularity of supply and how the grids manage this guessing games.
As any farmer will attest there is a stillness in the dawn and breathlessness in the dusk.
Wind farms can only prosper on direct government financial intervention and also a strong electricity coal-fired generation chain to fill in the gaps.
However, it is the governments that are keeping a lot of people in jobs.
James Delingpole points out a 3MW turbine generates at most $150,000 worth of electricity a year to be eligible for guaranteed subsidies of $500,000 a year.
"A ridgeline of 20 or 30 turbines generates very little power but an awful lot of free cash for those luckily enough to get their snouts in the trough.
He concludes with a comment from one farmer who has been bitterly fighting tooth and nail to stop a farm near his property.
"The wind-farm business is bloody well near a pedophile ring. They’re f….ing our familles and knowingly doing so."
We should also point out Mr Delingpole has an additional sin and that is he is a climate change sceptic.
